Friendship Club Luncheon

Friendship Club has been happening for approximately 25 years.  The purpose is to provide a social gathering for our senior citizens, not just Hope members.  A great lunch is provided for a nominal fee of $5.00 and a short program is presented.  It is an excellent opportunity to invite friends to come and get better acquainted with fellow members. On average, there are about 75 people who come and enjoy the delicious meal and program. We usually meet on the 4th Thursday at 12 noon (doors open at 11:30) except in November and December, when we meet on the 3rd Thursday. We do not meet in June, July, or August. We usually are finished by 1:30 p.m.

The Friendship Club is on Thursday, February 22 in the Community Center. All are welcome. Please make your reservation by signing up in the church office or call 439-4320.

The program will feature speaker Cathy Ferguson, who as a teenager, was an Olympian swimmer. She is presently the director of the Girl Scouts spanning from Bakersfield to Modesto.  She and her husband are members of Trinity Lutheran Church.
